So I took my average earnings (cpc), and pageviews for each site, changed the CTR to 10% and figured what each site should make at that CTR, then added them all together. The result was over $400 per month (I skipped a few sites so it's a bit higher).

My earnings should be > $400 per month, RIGHT NOW, if I can just get my click through rate up to 10% for each site. Easier said than done.

I've learned one layout earns well for one site and crappy for the next site (thanks for the comments rento). Each site is unique, each has unique visitors.

What a pain in the @ss, but I guess it's about time I focused more on ad placement. And the math shows it is more than worth it.

I'll be using images next to ads on a site or two next to see if that helps.

I don't think it is unrealistic for 1 in 10 visitors to click an ad! Just need to get the ducks in line to make it happen.
