brianLast night I bought a domain with backlinks and pagerank 2.

This morning I bought a domain with backlinks and a pagerank 3.

Each one of these I bought by going to godaddy.com, entering the domain name, and it returns "Available".

I only paid the basic registration fee and purchased 2 domains with pagerank and backlinks already.

How did you find these seemingly great domains?

I used a piece of software to sift through the thousands of dropped (or expired) domains yesterday, Filtered by still available.

Of course if you want to get really competitive and pay a higher price the software can tell you what domains have tons of backlinks, pagerank, etc, and are about to expire the next day.

"seemingly" great domains?

Well this is the first time I've been playing with dropped/expired domains so I'm not sure if they will lose the pagerank, or lose the google indexing (yes, they already have at least one page in googles index when I bought them!)

Do people that make good money online really tell how they do it or just say the fluff?

I think most people that make money online tell 99% about how they make money online either directly through writing it on their blog or through their actions and you can learn exactly what they are doing by simply wahtching what they are doing.

In the case of finding these domains the person who makes thousands per month simply told the world how they did it. I bought the domain tool on their recommendation and have been having a bunch of fun with it.

What's the software tool called?

First. I don't want your affiliate money. If you do buy the software please do it through my buddies affiliate link (I'm not even an affiliate) after watching his video. Not that he needs the money, but because he is the one that recommended the software.

Second. This software is very powerful, a bit expensive, might require a small monthly fee to really make it speedy after buying it, and takes some work to learn it and get the settings the way you want. In other words it isn't a magic pill you can swallow and give you great results. Rather it's like a great fishing pole and you just need to real the fish in.

Third. Here is the software link and the video. It's called "Domain Research Tool".

If people say exactly how they make money online why do some people still not believe it?

I'm no psychologist, you'd have to answer that one for yourself ;-)

Anywhoo, thanks brian for telling us about the cool tool.

Mark I just partialy agree with "I think most people that make money online tell 99% about how they make money online ".

I do not deny SOME are honest and have good intentions.

Yet majority - and allmost all gurus, if not all - are :
- saying about how they done pointing to things allready on "going down and fast" side of the earning curve;
- peomoting ways they have used and have worked, but now are to be found-discovered anyway;
- pointing to techniques are - more or less - still operational but not for long and requiring personal customization.

Very few people are realy open, have transparent behave and is somehow normal until is not crossing the border of missleading, cheating, falsity.

As i`m one who have "smelled" the scam since Corey Rudl`s newsletters, I`m very suspicious ...
To point out, I rather belive you make 3-5k / month and didn`t say it loud than belive [guru name here] make 35 k / week and tells me I can too but only if I`ll buy his ebook, membership to whatever site-training program and so on.
I rather preffer to try hard to figured out how you make the cash (and adapt it to how-what I can do things) than buying a premade biz which is subject to be bought by n others potential "competitors" ... and whorst even, premade biz which will require permanent undate-upgrade and never be complete (while seller would want to continue to earn money too selling me those updates ..)

In the history of Europe was a dictator, a bastard who lead Soviet Union, Josef Stalin. from all shit he used to say, ONE thing was really usefull, over the ages : "Learn ! Learn ! Learn !"
What is the connection ?
Well, if one Learn how to Learn and what to Learn, on a certain moment results will show up.

@valentin - I also said that if they dont specifically spell out what they are doing you can get the rest of what they are doing by simply watching and paying attention to what they are doing ;-)

I think anybody could probably spell out by step after step exactly what they do and only .001% will actually do it from start to finish. Most people are lazy, full of excuses, and have short attention spans.

For instance, one popular excuse is "the gurus never REALLY tell us how to make money online" lol, I beg to differ with that excuse.
valentin () says on October 22, 2007:
Exactly.

And I say that one must learn what and how to learn.
This is something they don`t teach in schools. Well, not in majority af them and where they do, they do it on only certain levels and limited amount of people.

I talk about creative learning. I can learn from one (or many) what and how they do, filtred thru what I want and /or I`m able to do.
This way I can`t blame you or third party I was misleaded :-P.

Yes, ok, I first read (reff to online marketing) about 10 Gb of documents, ebooks, studies and so on. I invested years into this (waiting for paypal to admit me to make money operations ...)

And yes, some are lazy enough to give up or, whorst, to think gurus teachings is the only way ...

Now I hear one on the back of the class room saying "I don`t have creativity !"

Wrong. We all have. Creativity is like a body musle : if is not trained, is dead-like ...

I looked at something like this a few years ago but back then there wasn't any software to help with it, or at least none that I knew of.

So what do you plan to do with these domains now that you have them?

"So what do you plan to do with these domains now that you have them?"

really that depends on the domain ;-)

hopefully the domain is a prize and I build a high quality site out of it for my gruopplatform network

otherwise maybe use one of a handful of sitebuilder scripts I created.

for example bonsaitraining.com that I made in this demo averages 250 uniques per month:

http://www.45n5.com/permalink/howto-build-a-content-minisite-in-under-10-minutes.html

maybe flip it for a profit?

or who knows what else, really depends on the domain name.

they only need to make $9 per year and the rest is all profit ;-)

Mark,

I have been looking into buying an expired domain.
I found one i liked and tried to register.
I was redirect to GoDaddy website and the domain was not available.

How does it work? Should I back order it? How do you register expired domains?

Thanks for you help.
