I'm working on a few affiliate sites at the moment but there is one I'll share because many of you might be interested in it (and I think I mentioned the url before, at least on twitter).
It's soooo not done but the video forum was installed and if you are interested in talking shop stop by the Camcorder.fm forum.
Mix A Blog A Forum And A Site Together
If you stop by you can see how I simply used the same header to mix a blog with a forum and a regular site.
The site is barebones at the moment so you can also watch it grow if you are interested.
I basically use the same html and css for a banner and add it to the the top of the templates for each element.
It can be completely different installs of many different software like forums or blogs or wikis or whatever but looks like one single site.
It's a bit geeky if you are a complete newb however there is no programming required, just some basic html and css skills.
The Video Forum
The video forum is currently empty so stop by and say hello and ask questions or share ideas.
I get quite a few questions about video now and I'll be directing them there from now on.
As for the rest of the site it's wait and see ;)

@Eric - I'd forgotten I had that account and saw a couple orders in their. I've since removed my blogs from them and don't do sponsored reviews, sorry, if that's what you meant.

I'm blending all 3 also and it is a task thats over my head. I am trying to find a designer that can do it but all the reference thus far have not checked out. The hybrid sounds great but the simple maintance of a blog is still the best. The outsourcing of the design will free up my time for promoting. Good luck with your project. To make money online is a lot of work.

Just visited your forum, and joined it too! I am a noob so far as video production is concerned, so hope I can learn a thing or two from your forum. :)
One question: which forum software is better: phpBB or PunBB?

I like the idea and I'm exicted to watch it develop. I registered and waiting for the email. I'm all about video and think it is where all this is heading. I'm really interested in seesmic to, video commmenting is going to make blogging interaction way more personalable.
I've been brainstrom a video site as well, I'll post it in the forum when I get it started.
This is really exciting I can wait to see how much blogging evolves over the next year.
