ian.jpgIan Fernando is a new blogger to my blogroll and one of my favorite types of bloggers, a text AND a video blogger.

Ian recently interviewed me which you can read here (with a great title btw)

Interview: Its a Load of BullCrap says Mark Wielgus

I thought I'd offer a few questions to Ian and let him discuss this online marketing thing, from his point of view, enjoy:

1. Why do you try to make money online? What is your goal?

I try to make money online because I would like to leave my job and wake up whenever I want. I do not like that my alarm clock is forcing me to wake up to someone else's schedule and needs.

My goal first is to replace my pay check. This will be hard as I have a good job as operations analysts for Vonage Voip. Once my check is replaceable, my next goal is to earn an extra 500 on top of that and repeating this process once its been achieved every time.

2. How do you make money online? Even if it is $10 per month, how do you make that $10?

There are several ways I make money online; I do ebay, freelance work, and blogging. Lately I have been concentrating on my blog since I believe it will bring me the income I desire. All the others are extra task if I would like to do more than blogging.

Blogging to me can compromise all of online making schemes, incorporating affiliate marketing, freelance, ecommerce etc.

But in order for me to make $10 a month I would have to say persistence in a single goal. Too many unorganized goals will result in to always failures.

The easiest I would have to say is selling on eBay, since that is where I first started earning income from the internet and it can be consistent as long as you are.

3. What script would you like to see me release next, would you pay for a script? How much?

Hmm I would have to say something that would incorporate an all in one template or design. For example a affiliate system that sells clickbank products, amazon, ebay etc. Since there are so many ways to make money online, I would like to see the TOP money making schemes in one.

I would definitely pay for a script, as I have done in the past as well as requesting scripts to be done or adjusted via a freelancer. If it provides great return or is beneficial for future releases then I would definitely pay for a script.

The price I would pay for a script would all depend on the benefits it can bring, long term. For example I would not pay $97 for a cloak script, since there are multiple ways, and free ones you can find on the internet. I have spent up to $250 (freelance work) for a script that I feel is beneficial for my marketing needs.

4. What is your advice to somebody starting today trying to make money online?

My advice is to read, read, read, and read a little more; especially for first timers because if you jump into everything at once you will just become lost. Once you have a good understanding and know you can dedicate yourself to it then experiment and make mistakes. It is all a learning process, without your mistakes you do not learn, and if you don't learn, you simply do not make money online.

5. Do you have any favorite blogger/forum/website you would like to point out or share that helps people make money online?

There are so many - but I participate and read in forums a lot and I enjoy 2 great forums by DigitalPoint.com and YoungEntrepreneur.com. These 2 forums provide great resources since digitalpoint is a mix of experts and newbies, where YE are almost all newbies. I like both atmospheres, since I read about new ideas and other false mistakes someone make. Another one of my favorite forums is WickedFire.com - these forum users hate newbies and will not tolerate them, but they will give a helping hand as long as you know your stuff.

Bloggers I tend to read on a daily basis is ProBlogger.com,
SmartWealthyRich.com, ZacJohnson.com, and PinoyBlogero.com. I am subscribed to more blogs and I browse the titles to see what I want to read or what header line attracts me. But the above are the ones that I will just go to the site to read comments and read what they have to write.

6. Please recommend 2 youtube videos for us to watch (they can be anything).

YouTube videos I recommend are KevJumba.com (redirects to his YouTube Profile). He is a great comedian that talks about his life, funny stuff.

Another I would have to say is Hilty and Bosch at:
