45n5 has the most boring pagerank in the entire world. 45n5 spent the ENTIRE year of 2006 at Pagerank 4, now it looks like it will close out 2007 at Pagerank 4 for the entire year. Wowser, 2 full years at steady PR4.So the next time you've been blogging for 2 months and complain that your pagerank hasn't moved yet, please, take it elsewhere ;-)
But PR4 is WAY better than PR0 so I'm happy with it....
Congrats to Darren on the return of some PR and reversing the "slap". Congrats to all the other bloggers that moved positively with their PR. Should be a fun update of the top100 make money online blogs next time (that page is now pr3).
If anything is clear from the latest pagerank nonsense is that pagerank is MORE RELEVANT than it has ever been!
Seriously, Everybody and their sister's uncle's beagle have posted about it lately, multiple times.
Here is a funny one: Even the people who claim "pagerank is nothing" have collectively made dozens of posts about pagerank over the past few weeks. Hilarious.
It's like going to sit down with a psychologist and when they ask what is troubling you your response is "the problem for sure isn't pagerank, but let me talk about pagerank for the next 20 minutes". haha. If you are talking about it, then IT MATTERS.
Until you read the next pagerank post (probably very soon ;-),,,, happy travels.

I love the way all the blogs that got hit are whining and trying to pretend they don't care anymore about PR. It's comical and sad to find out they are all little children.

I wrote something similar on my blog. It's really funny how everybody says pagerank doesn't matter but then they're complaining about pagerank drop.

Haha. Boring? PR of 4 sounds like a PR of 6 if you think about it in terms of how it was 6 months ago. I just got mine to PR 2 (it was a projected 5), so I should be the one complaining. :)

I got a PR3, and I'm pretty pleased with myself. About Pagerank, it only truly matters to those who want to make money online with their site, since almost everyone bases a site on pagerank. That's most of us.blantonious () says on October 27, 2007:
I started Success For Your Blog in July and achieved a PR1. Its low in comparison to some of my other blogs but I am pleased to see some progress. Although no PageRank outcome is going to stop me. I am a man on a mission. :-)By the way your Blog is awesome regardless if you gain any PageRank or not. I predict you will reach 1000 subscribers before the end of the year. Keep up the awesome job.

I too made a post in my blog about my main site dropping from PR5 to PR4, but I also mentioned it really only affects my ego.. as long as my SERPS/Traffic are good, that's all i really care about... but deep down inside, it still hurts :-(

thanks for the comments all. the top100 will update in the next few days.Vern at AimforAwesome says on October 27, 2007
PageRank means something! I made the mistake of using blogger.com and then switching from blogspot.com hosting to FTP hosting from blogger to my own domain. I went from PR 3 to GREY BAR for 5 months. Finally I submitted review request through webmaster tools - they gave me a 0. Better than grey. Now, after another month I finally have PR3 and 4 for all my blogs and sites. FINALLY... so, word of advice... don't go blogspot.com to FTP at your own domain if you want to lose all pagerank for 6+ months. Vern!

Well, my PR went up from a 6 to 7, and I think -- no, I KNOW PR is bullshit. It is completely absurd that I still have a higher PR than Darren, even after his re-re-adjustment.Daniel says on October 28, 2007
Aouch, I feel like a douche having my blog (one of them) up since September, with no SEO and a brand new PR5

There's a difference between posting about PageRank because you care about PageRank, and posting about PageRank because you know you can get on the front page of Sphinn with a silly cartoon about PageRank :p

My blog just got promoted from PR 0 to PR 3. And it maybe in its infancy, but it sure proof that anyone can achieve it with correct guides and strategies.
