If you think blog comment spam is a pain in the ass, I run a popular site here in Australia for a family member, it's a site for a caravan park, so he thought it would be a good idea to include a guestbook so his clients could tell the world how good his park is.

He's not particularly technically proficient, so I was spending so much time every week deleting the spam from porn sites in his guestbook, I eventually decided to kill the idea alltogether

I stay away from the sites that are ovbiously still updated.
